Can A Woman Rule Japan? Breaking Gender Barriers In Japanese Politics

Is it possible for a woman to become the emperor of Japan? The answer lies in the Kōshitsu tenpan, also known as the imperial household law, which historically restricted the throne’s succession to men only.
